
TAAMEER Development Group Welcomes an Official Delegation from Weifang and Signs an MoU to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

TAAMEER Development group welcomed a high-level official delegation from the Chinese city of Weifang at its new headquarters on Lusail Boulevard, as part of a visit aimed at exploring new opportunities for cooperation and joint investment.
The delegation was led by Di Bo, Deputy Mayor of Weifang, and included Yang Diqiang, Director of the Science and Technology Office; Zhao Hailong, Director of the Cooperation and Investment Office; Cheng Jin, Mayor of Weicheng District; and Sun Hong, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed under the patronage of the Deputy Mayor of Weifang. The agreement reflects both parties’ interest in strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation across development, infrastructure, and investment.
The visit also included discussions on knowledge exchange and the support of sustainable and innovative projects, as well as potential future partnerships that could advance shared interests and contribute to long-term development.
Commenting on the occasion, Khalifa Jameel Al Majed, Group Chief Executive Officer, said:
“We were pleased to welcome the official delegation from Weifang to our new headquarters. This visit reflects our shared ambition to expand cooperation and support sustainable and innovative projects.”
The meeting forms part of TAAMEER Development’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with international institutions and strengthening its role within the growing investment and cooperation landscape between the State of Qatar and the People’s Republic of China.
